Parking for both Saturday and Sunday will be available in Palace Fields Charge £4 all day. To find this location just follow the Railwells Parking signs.
Railwells is an extra special show this year. The exhibition is a celebration of Railway 200, the EM Gauge 70 years, the 3mm Association 60 years, Scalefour Southwest and the 2mm Association’s Road Show. Each individual section has layouts demonstrations and displays. Tim Venton is bringing along his layout of the Radstock tramway at Wellow as it would have been in 1825/6. The 3mm Association has a layout attending called Lananta Quay with standard and Brunel’s broad gauge, so really early railways. Pendon Museum will have on show some copies of photos taken from a book published by the Great Western Railway for the 100th anniversary of the Stockton and Darlington Railway. Really the whole show will be for Railway 200. So please come along and enjoy the event.
Railwells 2025 including Scalefour Southwest and special EM 70, 3mm 60. and 2mm Section. There will be a layout of the Radstock Tramway 3’4’’ gauge as at 1825/6 representing Railway 200, the 200th anniversary of railways as we know them today. The whole exhibition however will show railways as they progressed through the years.

‘Getting to Railwells/Scalefour Southwest by public transport
There is now a bus service to Wells from Bristol. The bus is the Mendip Xplorer service 376, marked from Bristol to Wells, Glastonbury and Street. For those travelling by train, the bus stop at Bristol Temple Meads is at the bottom of the station approach on the right. In Wells, the bus stops at ‘The former HSBC bank building at the end of Sadler Street 150 yards from the Town Hall. It is best to go to the Wells bus station or ask at the exhibition ticket office for the return journey.
An up-to-date timetable can be found on the www.firstbus.co.uk website, choosing ‘Timetables’ from the menu, ‘Bristol, Bath and the West’, and then ‘376’ for the required route and choosing ‘Find Timetables’.
